An all-day, family-friendly happening at the Contemporary Austin-Jones Center, Chulita Vinyl Club ATX and will use Abraham Cruzvillegas’s exhibition as a site for storytelling, conversation, and music, visuals provided by Chulita Natalia Rocafuerte. Live storytelling sessions from Austin community members. The public is encouraged to bring photographs, artwork, and paper ephemera to contribute to a large-scale banner highlighting the people, places, and things that illustrate Austin to them. And the Austin History Center will have a video and audio booth set up for folks to drop in and record their own accounts of life past and present in Texas’s capital city.
